F.N. Fun Run Endurance Event at Terrell's Island: The Circle is Real
Another year another F.N. Fun Run Endurance event at Terrell's Island: The Circle is Real. If you haven't been to this event or Terrell's Island, what are you waiting for? This is an awesome event for an FN ton of reasons. For example, its a PERFECT last long training run for the Fox Cities 1/2 or Full Marathon! Use us (we like it) to see if you can make your time or if you need a little more training. It's a great event to see how far you can run in 2, 4, or 6 hours. Have a goal and try to reach it. There will be Live Music at the after party this year! (Maybe we can get them to play Round and Round by Ratt?) You will meet new people and we will give you an FNFR treatment like only we can do. (Not sure what that means exactly but we like to run, have fun and have a few afterwards)
This year we are not allowing pacers. There are only so many people we can have on the island so we need to try to make sure there is enough room for the participants.
The course is a 3.7 mile loop and is VERY flat. The vast majority of the loop has water on both sides of you and makes for some great views of Little Lake Butte Des Morts. We will have 2 aid stations along the course so you are never far from aid.
Check us out and sign up for the 2 hour, 4 hour or 6 hour run. The runs will stagger in start times and we have talked to the town and they have agreed to sound the noon sirens to signal the end of the race. ;-)
The 6 hour run starts at 6am
The 4 hour run starts at 8am
The 2 hour run starts at 10am
EVERYONE ends with the noon siren! The after Party will start just after the run with plenty of food for everyone! We will provide a keg of beer at the end also!
After the race we will have our usual F.N. Fun Run after party with food and awards. Join us if you can, be sad if you can't and feel regret if you just don't. Either way at the FNFR Endurance Run at Terrell's Island, The Circle is Real...
