The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Westward Ho at 6:30pm by Bruce Loberg. Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurers report was read and accepted.
- Fundraising
- Banquet or Cash Raffle? – It was decided that we will be doing cash raffle in place of our banquet. More information to come at our January Meeting
- Battle on Bago – Bruce will get tickets to us to sell tickets. We do get 60% of our ticket sales
- Communications
- Sturgeon Advisory – Stacy Frakes will have more information at our January meeting
- Winneconne Reporting is due – Bruce is on the agenda for December 15th
- Property/Trail Update
- Trail will be closed starting Wednesday, December 7th until further notice due to breakwall project
- Breakwall – On revision 3 for changes. Waiting to hear from Korin regarding grant changes.
- Bruce will let everyone know of a date to get out to the trail to do brush trimming
- Parking Lot Cameras – Estimate of $4800. Looking for funds – Jordan will post online and on Facebook that we are looking for donations
- Strategic Plan – Bruce will add to dropbox
- Guns – Tom is waiting for appraisal team from shopguns.com to get back to him on a price offer. Tom will keep Bruce posted on any offer he receives. It was suggested to auction off the Brett Favre gun online.
- Lawn Mower – Still looking for a lawn mower – 46 inches or larger in great condition. Suggested budget $2500
- Membership Cards – Jordan will make changes that were suggested and bring back edits to next meeting.
- Board Members - Kevin and Jordan are up for re-election. Jordan and Kevin agreed to stay on.
Meeting was adjourned by Don Stowe, seconded by Kevin Stowe at 7:26pm. Next General Meeting will be Monday, January 16, 2023 at The Westward Ho.
