May 13 General Meeting

The General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club was called to order on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Winklers Westward Ho at 6:30pm by Bruce Loberg.

 

  1. Property/Trail Update
    1. Spring Clean Up/Trail Opening took place on April 13th  
    2. Breakwall Project – Bruce will be having meeting with DNR/County/Fox Wolf about grant plans
    3. Parking Lot Camera Project: Electrical Inspection to take place on 5/14.
    4. “Andrew Project: Permits are needed, waiting on those.
  2. Fundraising
    1. Spring Raffle – Profit was $3,760. Minus ticket printing costs.
    2. Golf Outing –Sunday, August 18th at Winchester Hills. 
  3. Memberships – We are currently at 40 members. The goal is to reach 60 members this year.
  4. Town Picture Update: Ron will take an aerial picture when things green up and get an updated picture to the town
  5. Automated Gates: Dave Lux has looked into this and it looks like cost would be around $1500. He will be talking with area businesses who use the gates to get their input. The big cost would be solar panels to operate the gates.

 

Meeting was adjourned by Don Stowe seconded by Randy Pointon at 7:00pm. Next General Meeting will be Monday, June 10, 2024 at The Pat Hickey School House.
