Jordan Vanderloop called the General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club to order on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Terrell’s Island Schoolhouse at 6:30 pm.
- Breakwall Update
- Resolution for the easement of the property was signed and given to Renee on September 10th.
- Bruce will need to sign the Option to Purchase Critical Habitat Breakwall Easement and get that back to Renee this week. This allows the DNR to move forward with hopefully getting permits secured.
- Fundraising
- Calendar Raffle tickets are available to purchase and to help sell!
- Old Business
- We are still looking for a 54-inch lawn mower. Jordan will create a GoFundMe
- Guidepost Brochure – Winter project for Lawanda
- Lift and Parking Lot Bridge – Dave and Bruce will meet with Brady Johnson and see what he can help us with.
- Grant with UWO – All 6,987 slides are scanned in. Art will start to go through them to see which ones are most important to us.
- Spring clean-up of the buildings – Need to pick a date
- The Parking Lot light was adjusted.
- Removal of Inside Rock – Art is investigating amount of rock.
- Wiouwash Trail Clean Up – Jordan will complete in the next couple of weeks.
The meeting was adjourned by Lawanda Jungwirth seconded by Dave Lux. The Next General Meeting will be Monday, October 13, 2025, at Terrell Island School House.
