April 14 2025 General Meeting Minutes

Date: April 14, 2025

Bruce Loberg called the General Meeting of the Butte des Morts Conservation Club to order on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Winklers Westward Ho at 6:30 pm. 

 

  1. Property/Trail Update
    1. Angelo is looking at the issue of the Turnaround settling
    2. We are still looking for a 54-inch lawn mower 
    3. UTV got 2 new front tires
    4. Guidepost Brochure – Art has a draft and will give info to Lawanda to format
    5. Lift – Jordan will put on Facebook marketplace. Ken Meier will talk to Radtke to see if they have any interest in it or what the value is. 
    6. The breakwall permit expires in November 2025. Bruce has requested a phone conference to discuss the next steps. 
    7. Fish Stick permit is good for 5 years
    8. Removal of Inside Rock – not much happening right now. Art is investigating the quantity of rock for a possible future project.
    9. Jordan will get Wiouwash Trail Clean Up done in May
  2. Old Business
    1. Fundraising
      1. Golf Outing Scheduled for August 17th
      2. Jordan will bring the calendar raffle tickets to our May meeting
      3. Jordan will talk to Lori Jensen about Bingo details
    2. Memberships – Currently at 30 memberships
  3. New Business
    1. Bruce talked with Pat Kolbe at Winneconne School – will meet with him over the summer
    2. The bridge at the parking lot  
      1. Rebuild the bridge with some platform as a lookout. Bruce will look at quotes.

The meeting was adjourned by Ken Meier, seconded by Kevin Stowe, at 7:25 p.m. The Next General Meeting will be Monday, May 12, 2025, at Terrell Island School
